Doormark warrants its parts to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of five (5) years. Warranty extends to include delamination of thermofoil from substrate, and also extends to yellowing of product within one percent ( 1 %) of original color per year. Warranty does not include, nor will any consideration be given to any damage through abuse, misuse, improper handling, modification or incorrect installation of products, and no other warranties are written or implied.
In the event a claim against the warranty is made, Doormark reserves the right to inspect all product(s) as listed on the original invoice(s) prior to return of parts deemed defective.
Doormark will not be liable where discontinued door designs, details, profiles or colors occur. In such cases it will be at Doormark's discretion to replace defective parts with similar or equal product. This warranty extends to product replacement only, and Doormark assumes no liability for labor costs or other material costs how‐ ever directly or indirectly associated with the removal and/or replacement of parts covered under this warranty as described above.
Doormark warrants its products with the original purchaser of goods and this warranty may not be assigned or transferred to any other person or entity. All claims against the warranty must be accompanied by the original Doormark invoice. This is the entire warranty and no other warranties or claims against the company, whether written, verbal or implied shall be valid.
In addition, manufactured thermofoil products are solely intended for installation in an occupied residence or building where normal temperatures are thermostatically controlled to prevent prolonged exposure to heat and humidity. Any and all manufactured parts that are installed outdoors, warehoused or stored in any facility or structure not being temperature controlled, will be warranted for three months (90 days) from date of invoice with no exceptions.
