Project Notes: TS Closet manufactured this custom His & Her closet for a new home built on the ocean. The project’s designer, Michele Wiedenhaefer, says the homeowner “wanted drama in her closet.”

The client chose Cashmere for her closet, a new neutral that’s “not too beige, not too gray,” according to Wiedenhaefer. To add contrast, she painted the walls a rich, dark plum.

The 200-plus-square-foot closet includes several custom features:

• Glass doors with lighting
• A quartz-topped island
• Built-in hampers
• Hidden charging outlets in two drawers
• Custom-made lip shelves that have a 1-1/2-inch-thick piece applied on the edges rather than the standard ¾ inch to give the shelves a more substantial, built-in look.
